STEPS TO STUDY ACTIVATION

Contract or Subaward is Fully Executed

Obtaining a fully executed study contract or subaward is one of the major milestones in the study activation process. Review the Submit Contract/Subaward for Review and Negotiation page for more information about the OCR and ORA contracting processes.

If your study was reviewed by the OCR Financial Compliance team, please provide your final approved contract or subaward and budget to ocrfin@iu.edu so that a Final Review can be completed.

Following a fully executed agreement, externally funded studies will receive a research account number. Review the Complete the Department Financial Setup tile for next steps following account creation.

For questions, please contact ocrfin@iu.edu.
