GETTING STARTED WITH RESEARCH

Required CITI Training

The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) provides peer-reviewed, web-based educational courses in research, ethics, regulatory oversight, responsible conduct of research, research administration, and other topics. CITI courses are used worldwide by more than 2,200 organizations and more than 1 million learners around the world annually.

The courses you are required to take for IU/IU Health will depend upon your planned research activities. Visit Required Human Subject Training for more information about what is required.

CITI Training Account

To complete the required training modules, you will need a CITI Training account. Visit Citi Training at IU to create an account or to find information on transferring your coursework from a previous account.
