The Office of Clinical Research (OCR) provides support services to clinical researchers working within Indiana University, IU Health, and Eskenazi Health systems. Over the last several years, the scope of OCR has expanded beyond the Contracts group, which focuses on executing contracts with commercial sponsors, to include implementing a clinical research management system (OnCore), conducting coverage analyses for research billing, and reaching out to investigators who would like to conduct studies statewide. In addition, the OCR has developed education and training resources for our research community. Beyond that, in our Research Support section, researchers can also tap into resources that include a biorepository, a medical laboratory, help with analytics, and, for the entrepreneurial-minded, the Indiana Center for Biomedical Innovation (ICBI). The ICBI provides biomedical startups with fully equipped laboratory facilities, offices, and a seamless move from bench to clinical trials for ICBI member companies.
